Exiting news netters! Evangeline appeared at Good Morning New Zealand back in Novemeber (November 26), and a clip has finally surfaced online. It features Evi and Johnny Fraser- Allen, the creator of “The Goluming trilogy”. It’s a really interesting interview, as we get to hear a lot about Evangeline’s future career releated plans! It seems that 2013 will finally be a really big year for her, with the release of The Squickerwonkers, her official site (!!) and, of course, The Hobbit…
Screencaptures will be up in our galleries soon, and I will get the video added to our video archives! For now, watch the clip below…
Hello netters! The post-production video from “The Hobbit” has finally surfaced online, and you can now watch it below! It’s 14+ minutes long, and it’s a very interesting (and super-fun) watch. I didn’t spot Evangeline unfortunately, but I definitly recommend it nonetheless. Apparantly the film is set to be finished edited etc. only two days before the actual premiere!
New ‘Hobbit,Unexpected Journey’ 7 minute movie clip released online. Recently, a fan dropped this new,7 minute movie clip (below) for the upcoming action/adventure flick “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” and it looks quite good as it’s a mash up of all the clips that have been released from the studio ,New Line Cinema,so in case you missed any of them, you can watch them all in this brand new clip.
It features tons of action, drama, and adventure with Bilbo Baggins, the 13 hobbits,Wizard Gandalf the Grey, and more. Check it out, below. The movie stars: Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Evangeline Lilly, Andy Serkis, Richard Armitage, John Bell, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, and Ryan Gage.

Hello netters! With the premiere of The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey being only a few weeks away now, a bunch of new TV spots, character posters, news and more have surfaced online. Hardly any of this features Evangeline unfortunately, but I’ll post it all for you here anyway.
- First, the Evangeline releated bit: as we’ve posted earlier, Evangeline originally said her character would only appear towards the end of part 1 (when The Hobbit was only to be released in two parts, and not three), and then more in part 2. We where unsure if this ment that Tauriel would not appear at all in the first film now that it’s been split in three, or if they only split the originally second part into two, meaning that Tauriel would still make an appearance toward the end of An unexpected Journey. However, a guy named Mike emailed me a few days ago, telling me that the creators of the “The Hobbit” action figures was very upset about the news of the film being split into three, as some of their action figures for characters who would not appear in the first film after all where already marked “An unexpected Journey” characters. This is supposted to be the case for Evangeline’s character’s action figure, which can be seen here. I have no confirmation on this yet, but I wanted to let you all know – as this might just meen we won’t get to see Evangeline/Tauriel at all in the first part, which is to be released next month.
- Secondly: We now have the first track from The Hobbit’s soundtrack, entitled “Radagast the Brown”! Howard Shore, who did the scores for the “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, is doing the music again, and judging by this track, we won’t have to worry about the quality of it – doesn’t it sound amazing? You can listen to it here.
- Also, four new international TV Spots have been released! None of them feature our Evangeline, but they’re still very much worth a look. Head over to this site to check them out! As they don’t feature Evi, I will not post them directly at the site – but just click the link to view them over at HeyGuys.
- Last, and possibly least, more posters have surfaced online. Again, none includes Tauriel – but just like the TV spots, they’re still worth a look. Head over here if interested.
That wraps our “The Hobbit” post for now – and as always, we promise to update y’all the minute we come across anything releated to Tauriel or Evangeline. Even if she won’t be in the first film, we can still hope she’ll attend a premiere or two! Keep checking back here at I Heart Evangeline for all the latest on Miss Lilly…
A new international 60 seconds long TV spot for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” has surfaced online, and I’ve posted it for y’all to see below! Unfortunately, no glimpse of Evangeline – but it’s still worth a look.
As the title says, there was unfortunately no clips featurering Evangeline in the brand new “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” trailer which was released yesterday. But the trailer is still pretty amazing – and a must-see for all “The Hobbit” fans! The trailer has been attached at the bottom of the post – you can also head over to the official site for the film, where you can chose between five alterative trailer endings! A couple of new stills, featurering Gollum, Gandalf and more has also been released, and can be found here.
Also, a friend of me pointed out the following parts on Wikipedia (which is not exacly a safe source, but it would explain why we’ve hardly received any news, photos, media etc. containing Evangeline. It also seems to be backed up by something Evangeline said in an interview last year):
The character will appear only briefly in the first film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which will be released in 2012. Prior to the decision to have three films instead of two, Tauriel was described as having a more substantial role in what was then the second and final film, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, which had been planned for release in 2013.
So if you come out of the cinema disappointed there was hardly any Evangeline/Tauriel in the film, keep in mind that she’ll be featued more in one/both of the final films! Hopefully we’ll also be spoiled with lots of Tauriel images + Evangeline events when the promotion for “The Desolation of Smaug” and “There and back again” starts up.
Hello fellow Evangeline fans! With the film being only 4 months away now (!!!), an extended trailer for the first part of the “The Hobbit” trilogy, An unexpected Journey, has surfaced online. It doesn’t future Evangeline unfortunately, but it’s still an amazing trailer! I’m extremely exited about the films, and I really hope we will get to see a lot of Evangeline in them. Let us know your thougts on the trailer by commenting below!
Continuing on from our previous post about the trilogy confirmation, IMDB has now updated Evangeline’s page to contain the third film. However, IMDB tends to make mistakes – but we will let you know the minute we hear any official statements!
New parts to the extended trailer:
0:23 — Bilbo’s reaction to Gandalf’s arrival
1:57 — Bilbo hiding behind a tree in Mirkwood
1:59 — Gandalf, the dwarves, and Bilbo running through a forest
On The Red Carpet did a great interview with our Evi at the red carpet of the Real Steel premiere on October the 3rd. They’ve finally released a video clip from the event, as well as a very long and good interview “script”. It’s pretty good, so I truely recommand all Evangeline fans to watch the film, and read the interview
The video itself can be viewed here, and I’ve posted the article below.
Evangeline Lilly plays Hugh Jackman’s love interest in “Real Steel” and the former “Lost” actress talked to OnTheRedCarpet.com about her hunky co-star and her glam red carpet look.
“I actually wore lipstick for the first time in my life, I think,” Lilly, who is a L’Oreal spokes model but has played some less-than-glamorous characters told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Rachel Smith. “I decided to be very glam tonight… I have an affinity to femininity.”
The film takes place in 2020, where robots have replaced humans in the boxing ring and Jackman plays a retired boxer turned small-time promoter who sees potential in a discarded robot. In the process of training his new champion, starts sharing a life with his 11-year-old son.
“‘Real Steel’ is projecting into a future where boxing has become mundane to people. As with WWF and all the different fighting styles that have sort of developed and evolved over the last few years, or ten years, people want more action and they want more violence and they want more gore and it reaches a point where a human dies in the ring out of blood thirst, basically — audience blood thirst,” Lilly said of the film. “So they decide to get the humans out of the ring, put the robots into the ring, and then we can have real carnage, to the degree where we have heads hanging on the walls and body parts pulled away off the ring, which obviously you can’t do with humans.”
The film also stars Dakota Goyo as Jackman’s son. Goyo recently portrayed a young Thor in the Marvel comic movie.
“Beautiful men, both of them and both consummate professionals,” Lilly said of Jackman and Goyo. “I was stunned and pleased to see how truly professional Dakota was. He’s clearly an experienced actor because he would come onto set, he would know his lines, he would know how to hit a mark, he would know how to give a variance in performance. He was really good! And then of course Hugh Jackman — everyone has already said all the things I could say which is that he’s humble and kind and generous and professional and so good. He’s just so good!”
At the premiere, Jackman told OnTheRedCarpet.com that he forgot to explain the dynamics of his on-screen kiss with the Lilly to his kids, causing his 11-year-old son Oscar to think the actor had cheated on his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
“I forgot to tell my boy that he was about to see his dad kiss another woman and explain that experience because it was the first movie of mine that they’ve been to. So literally, the scene came on and I was like, ‘Oh no’ ” Jackman told OnTheRedCarpet.com. ” Oscar just looks straight up and he goes, ‘Wow, Dad, you’re going to be in trouble.’” When asked about the rumors of a “Real Steel” sequel, Lilly said she would love to be a part of another film but also wanted to spend time with her new son.
“I don’t have a choice in the matter, I am contractually on-board,” Lilly admitted. “But because the movie was such a great experience, I don’t see why I wouldn’t want to be a part of another one, other than the fact that I really want to be at home with my baby!”
In May, the actress welcomed her first child with boyfriend Norman Kali. Lilly recently opened up about life with her “wonderful” baby boy. Lilly has yet to reveal the name of her child or the date he was born. She was photographed sporting what appeared to be a baby bump in April.
“My son is wonderful. He is amazing,” the 32-year-old actress told Us Weekly. “Motherhood is a joy! I have dreamed about being a mother since I was 12-years-old and there’s nothing disappointing about it.”
It was announced in June that Lilly nabbed a role in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of “The Hobbit,” directed by Peter Jackson. The actress will be playing a new character, a Woodland Elf named Tauriel.
Her son’s father is Lilly’s boyfriend Kali, who worked as a production assistant on “LOST,” Us Weekly previously reported. The magazine published a celebrity photo of Lilly holding a baby and walking alongside Kali in a supermarket in Hawaii, where much of “LOST” was filmed.
“LOST” debuted in 2004 and depicted a group of people involved in a plane crash, who faced supernatural events on a mysterious island. The Emmy-winning series ended exactly one year ago – on May 23, 2010. Lilly played Kate, a fugitive nicknamed “Freckles” by one of her on-screen love interests, Sawyer, played by Josh Holloway.
Lilly was married to hockey player Murray Hone for a year, after which she dated her “LOST” co-star Dominic Monaghan. Their relationship lasted between 2004 and 2009.
“Real Steel” hit theaters on October 7. Watch the trailer below.
Hello netters
